Projection of the Astronomical Museum

The museum is located in Lingang District, Shanghai, covering an area of 38,000 square meters. It is the largest museum dedicated to astronomy in the world today. It was designed by American design company Ennead Architects, and its design is very different from other museums.

There are no straight lines or angles here-the concept is inspired by the orbits of celestial bodies and the geometry of the universe. Instead, the three main architectural components of the building-Oculus, inverted dome, and sphere-are used as astronomical instruments to track the sun, moon, and stars.

But the main installation is in the building. Here, many exhibits are made with cutting-edge audio-visual technology to provide visitors with an interesting and immersive experience. These incredible projections are provided by more than 40 projectors in almost every venue.
